Gail teaches in relation to data aesthetics and data visualisation, digital media theory and aesthetics, design, screen cultures and the moving image,and modernist and post modern histories and theories

She has a Phd and supervised post graduate research students

Gail lectured at University of Wales in Cardiff (Now Cardiff Metropolitan University), after gaining a BA (Hons) in Fine Arts and MA by research in Fine Arts at the City of Birmingham Polytechnic (now Birmingham University). She has lectured, taught, and written and developed courses both in studio practice and art history and theory at:

  • The University of Wales in Cardiff, UK;
  • COFA, UNSW; and
  • North Warwickshire college of Art and Design, UK.

Gail delivers learning and teaching programs that engage with current pedagogy relating to student centred learning and multimodal teaching and has completed a Graduate Certificate in University Learning and Teaching 2014
